OmTabs Terms of Use
Public terms that apply to OmTabs usage in the current all-features-free build.
Usage Terms
- All listed features in the extension are currently available without paid activation.
- Users must comply with browser platform policies and applicable local laws.
- Misuse, abuse, or malicious automation may lead to support refusal.
- Feature scope may change in future releases with updated public documentation.
- Users are responsible for backups before major import/export operations.
Payment Status
Current build uses free mode. Premium payment and unlock flow are disabled.
- No billing transaction is required to access workspaces, backup, sync, or privacy tools.
- No unlock code is required in this mode.
- If billing is re-enabled in future, policy updates will be published before rollout.
Data and Security Notes
- Privacy lock secrets are stored as hashes, not plain text.
- Most extension data remains in local browser storage.
- Sync features depend on browser profile sync availability.
